There are some great Starbucks outside of the area that open very early and allowed us to get a cheery greeting before we headed into a hot, hot environment.

Sequoia National Park is quite an adventure in and of itself. If you think you’ve seen big trees, you haven’t.

This particular tree is the General Grant. It’s truly astounding how huge these trees really are.

Yosemite was a fun place to visit and Half Dome was quite a sight.

Yosemite Falls is quite a hike but worth it when you get to the top. However, don’t be fooled that the trip “down” is not only down….it’s a roller coaster of exhaustion, but worth it.
