Germany is probably one of my favorite places I’ve visited thus far. The people are incredibly nice and the whole country (at least as far as we’ve seen) is beautiful.
Our first stop was Meersburg. Meersburg is a nice little place to visit and has a lot of really beautiful architecture.

They also had the best strawberry ice cream I’ve ever had at a vendor by the water.

Our next stop is one of my favorites: Rothenberg We stayed at this beautiful quiet castle with the kindest owner and the best breakfast with a view. We walked the city gates and just enjoyed slowing down in the quiet town. We also tried Schneeballen.

The next stop was Heidelberg with beautiful castles and a nice quiet atmosphere. The people were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious.

Up next was Triberg, a place I will definitely return to as I didn’t get to try Black Forest Cake this time. However we did get delicious coffee and donuts. This is where the cuckoo clock originated and is a great, quite little town. The waterfall there is quiet glorious and easy to navigate the stairs.

Finally, our last German stop was Konstanz. This was a beautiful town with big churches and great scenery.

As we flew out of Zurich, we did make a pit stop to grab Swiss chocolate. However the exploring will largely have to be another adventure.
